About this Death Cafe
Death Café Gathering
Let’s come together for open, gentle conversation around one of life’s deepest questions:
What is a good death?
What is a difficult or “bad” death?
In a safe, supportive space, we’ll explore perspectives, share stories, and deepen our understanding of mortality and meaning.
About Yogis choice
Lauren Peart is End-of-Life Death Doula, Reiki Master and Holistic Health & Wellness Practitioner. With a deep commitment to healing, transformation, and compassionate service, Lauren supports individuals through all stages of life—mind, body, spirit, and soul.
As an End-of-Life Death Doula, Lauren offers grounded, heart-centered guidance to individuals and families navigating grief, transition, legacy work, emotional processing, and spiritual softening at the end of life. She specializes in holding space, providing non-medical comfort, creating meaningful rituals, honouring cultural and personal beliefs, and supporting people in finding peace, dignity, and presence during life’s most sacred threshold.
Lauren’s holistic wellness work is supported by her Health & Wellness Education through McMaster University, where she trained in evidence-informed approaches to behavioural change, emotional wellbeing, and compassionate health coaching. She blends both spiritual wisdom and modern wellness practices to create a unique, integrative approach to healing.
Lauren has also travelled to many places around the world, immersing herself in diverse cultures, healing traditions, and sacred practices—wisdom she lovingly weaves into her own teachings and client care. Through these experiences Lauren continues to guide students, families, and individuals with gentleness, soul awareness, and intuitive clarity. Her work centres on empowering people to rediscover their light, honour their cycles, and walk their path with intention and strength.
