About this Death Cafe

Following the profound personal loss of her partner in 2015, she dedicated her career to compassionate end-of-life support. Anita founded Death Café Bakers Hill to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for open conversation about dying, death, loss, and grief, fostering connection, dignity, and healing.

What to expect

      • A welcoming, confidential environment for sharing experiences, questions, and reflections on death and dying
      • Guided conversations that honor diverse beliefs, cultures, and traditions
      • Practical insights for navigating grief, loss, and end-of-life planning
      • Community support to reduce isolation and build meaningful connections

Who should attend

      • Anyone seeking a compassionate space to talk about death and bereavement
      • Caregivers, friends, family members, and professionals supporting others through loss
      • Individuals curious about end-of-life perspectives and practices
      • Feel free to bring questions, stories, or reflections
      • Respectful dialogue and listening are encouraged
