About this Death Cafe

The hope of this death cafe is to provide  this safe space to discuss our feelings about the inevitable over coffee and cake, helping us to take the fear out of the often stigmatized topic, as well as opening our world up to living life to fullest whilst we can. 

All religions and backgrounds are welcome, making it accessible for anyone willing to join the discussion and be open minded to other beliefs too. 

If you wish to attend, please contact our faciliator, Jordan, with your interest and any dietary or accessibility requirements that are needed. 

About Jordan Tunstall and Open Door Charity

Jordan Tunstall is a funeral celebrant based on the Wirral since 2022. Since becoming a celebrant, she has recognised the need for a safe space for people to talk freely about death without judgement and enable curiousity into what can be seen as a taboo topic. 

Open Door Charity is a mental health Charity based on the Wirral that provide mental health support, helping to reimagine what mental health support looks like. By supporting the facilitation of this Death Cafe, they are hoping that this opens conversations into a topic that often leads to issues around out mental health.
