Talking about death helps us live more fully. As a death doula, I’ve seen how powerful it can be to gather in community, share stories, and get curious—together. These gatherings are casual, welcoming, and completely conversation-led: no agenda, no judgment. Just good coffee, cake, and honest conversation.

Britna Savarese is a certified death doula and the host of two monthly Death Cafes in Dallas. With a deep commitment to compassionate conversation around mortality, she also facilitates Death Cafes for workplaces processing grief after loss. Britna creates welcoming, judgment-free spaces where people can reflect, connect, and talk openly about death and dying.
