About this Death Cafe

Our society is leaving us out of our own deaths! Death is so often too hidden, too alone and too ill considered. By creating a safe, friendly space to share our knowledge, our worries and our hopes about death, we experience a sense of connection.   

We need to explore death conversationally with sincerity, but also with humour and cake! Liz believes that this kind of talk is deeply worthwhile and life affirming.   

About Liz Newell

Liz Newell is an End of Life Doula and educator who thinks it is vital that at this time in our society, we need to understand our choices around how we die and how to support those around us who are dying. As a long -time teacher and meditation practitioner her skills will guide sessions with compassion and care.
