About this Death Cafe
I’m hosting this Death Café because conversations about death have shaped my own life and work, and I’ve seen how powerful it can be when we allow ourselves to speak about it openly. For me, talking about death isn’t about being morbid or heavy. It’s about honesty, presence, and remembering what truly matters while we are alive. When we allow ourselves to look at mortality together, something often shifts: priorities become clearer, connection deepens, and life feels more real.
About Olga Wouhra
I am a psychologist and an existential psychotherapist in training, working within the framework of Existential Analysis. I’m curious about the questions that tend to stay in the background—what matters to us, how we choose, and how we live knowing that life doesn’t last forever.
Through both personal experience and my work with others, I’ve seen how becoming aware of death can change the way we live, choose, and relate to one another. Rather than seeing mortality only as something frightening, I’m interested in how acknowledging it can help us live with greater responsibility and clarity.
