About this Death Cafe

We are trying to promote a healthier response to the natural process which is death.  Many people don't discuss their own future death with anyone.  Many people have a terrible fear of dying and death.  We hope that by creating a space where people can start talking, it may ease starting these conversations with the important people in their lives, and may help reduce fear and anxiety.

Douglas Library is open to the public and welcomes various community initiatives.  It hosts these meetings in private space within this public building.

It is fully accessible.
