An Online Death Cafe
About this Death Cafe
Death is often treated as the final taboo—something we avoid, ignore, or fear in silence. But I believe that when we create space to talk about death, we’re also making room to live more fully, love more deeply, and connect more honestly.
That’s why I’m honored to host this Death Café: a welcoming, nonjudgmental gathering where people of all backgrounds can come together to share thoughts, fears, experiences, and reflections about death and dying.
There’s no agenda, no sales pitch, and no pressure to participate in any particular way. This isn’t a therapy session or a workshop—it’s simply a conversation. A space where we remember that talking about death isn’t morbid; it’s human.
We’ll meet virtually, and after a brief welcome and introduction, we’ll open the floor for gentle, organic conversation. You are welcome to speak, to listen, or simply to be present
About Marissa Jane
Marissa Overcash | Wellness & Recovery Coach
Ars Moriendi Ars Vivendi – The Art of Dying is the Art of Living
As a certified Death Doula and Grief Coach, I help individuals reclaim their lives from trauma, addiction, grief, and emotional burnout. With a background in trauma-informed care and end-of-life support, I offer a holistic, nonjudgmental space to explore healing, set empowered goals, and rebuild self-trust.
My approach blends emotional resilience work, somatic grounding, ritual practices, and narrative transformation—meeting you where you are, and walking with you toward where you want to be. Whether you're navigating recovery, reentering after loss, or simply yearning for a deeper connection to yourself, you don’t have to do it alone.
You are not broken—you are becoming. Let’s walk this healing path together.
