About this Death Cafe
Our goal is to increase awareness of death to help people make the most of their lives. This is an open forum to talk about death, a topic not everyone is comfortable discussing. All are welcome. Please join us.
About Lisa Kanarek
As a death doula, I provide comfort, support, and guidance to hospice patients and their families. My work with clients includes creating written and video legacy projects, visits with Gaia, the other half of my therapy animal team, and facilitating conversations between a loved one and their family about their final wishes at the end of life.
