About this Death Cafe

I set up an alter table with examples of how to have sacred space for sacred moments.  Books and literature scattered around and free fruit and cookies.  You are encouraged to come a little early and support Crows Coffee!

About Kalista Schwartz

Hello!  My name is Kalista and I facilitate the death cafes at Crows Coffee, usually always on the last Monday of the month.  Walking the death jounrey with my dog Molly changed my relationship to death and dying and caused me to get more interested in this path we all walk down at some point. I started attending death cafes and after the passing of my dear grandmother, I started hosting them myself.  Since 2023 Crows in Waldo, has graciously let me hold them after hours and I would be honored to have your voice at the table.
