About this Death Cafe

Let’s eat cake and chat about death! Join us for a Death Café, a gathering where we’ll nosh, converse, and lay out our thoughts and questions on all things death and dying in an open and judgment free environment. This Death Café is agenda-free and welcomes thoughts from all participants. Tea, cake, and savory offerings will be available.

The Death Café is not intended to be a grief support group, nor does it serve as a substitute for grief counseling.

The Death Café was developed by Jon Underwood and Sue Barsky Reid, based on the ideas of Bernard Crettaz. Lizzy Miles was the first to host a Death Café in the U.S. You can learn more about their work at https://deathcafe.com/
