About this Death Cafe

The Old Fire Station kindly offers us the space of their Cafe but sadly the cafe itself is closed so we bring our own and I provide biscuits!
We usually split in two groups and share the space easily.

We ask participants to arrive in good time so that we can start promptly and provide a safe and confidential environment. We also ask they stay until the end of the session if at all possible for the same reasons.

About Joelle Mann & David Thurston

Joelle Mann is a retired therapist and Soul Midwife and Bereavement Counsellor. She grew up in Geneva and has lived in Oxford on and off since 1972. She loves singing, travellng, walking, music of all sorts and friends.

David Thurston is a retired GP and psychiatrist and a Buddhist. He loves poetry, walks, singing and his dog Archie.
