About this Death Cafe
Join us at Reading Death Cafe for open and honest discussions about death and dying over tea and cake.
All are welcome to this friendly and informal event. There is no agenda or aim; come and share your thoughts & experiences and discuss any topic over a cuppa and cake.
Come if you are curious and if you like to go beyond small talk.
When we meet together, we will ask you to introduce yourself and say why you have come to death cafe. No one will be forced to speak if they don’t feel comfortable doing so.
You are welcome to just turn up on the night, but if you can let us know you are coming via Eventbrite, we can ensure therewill be enough cake.

The cafe will be facilitated by Jayne and Francesca. Both have a passion for people feeling able to talk about death-both the feelings it evokes and the practicalities surrounding it.
