Death Café at Book Bar

Join us for an open, respectful, and thought-provoking conversation about death, dying, and living fully. A Death Café is not grief counseling or a support group—it’s a relaxed, guided discussion where people come together over coffee to explore topics around mortality, meaning, and what it means to live a vibrant life. The goal isn’t to reach conclusions, but to share, listen, and connect through honest dialogue.

About Book Bar owner Brittany Haynes

Facilitator- Virginia Bonifant, M.A., NBC-HWC Candidate
Virginia is a certified Health and Wellness Coach (Georgetown University, NBHWC-approved) with a background in Clinical Psychology and End-of-Life Doula training. As the founder of Your Vibrant Life, LLC, she helps people make sustainable habit changes to live fully and authentically.  Her facilitation style is compassionate, grounded, and honors the full spectrum of human experience—from vulnerability to vitality.

Host- Brittany Haynes, Chief Executive Officer of Book Bar decided to pursue her big dream of opening a little bookstore by creating Book Bar LLC in the fall of 2023.
