I’m Vanessa Ciherean, a curious and enthusiastic person who has been exploring the many dimensions of grief, death, and dying for years.

I’m a trained Palliative Care Volunteer, a certified Death Doula through Going with Grace (founded by Alua Arthur), and a certified Grief Educator through David Kessler’s Grief Educator Program.

As a death doula, one of my goals is to create spaces for open dialogue, self-education, and normalization around topics that are often taboo—or ignored until they catch us by surprise.

Facing our own finitude, and giving ourselves the time and space to reflect and share about it, is a lifelong journey of exploration and transformation.
