About this Death Cafe

In a “Death Cafe,” open and respectful conversations about death take place without a specific agenda, objective, or topic.

Each person will introduce themselves and explain why they are attending the "Death Cafe," and then we will allow the conversation to flow naturally. We will conclude with a brief reflection on how we feel and if there is anything on our minds or hearts that we would like to share with the group.

The City of Roses Death Cafe is a free event (donations are welcome) and open to everyone. It's a welcoming space that respects all communities (including LGBTQIA+) and beliefs. Masks are not required but are encouraged.

There will be coffee, tea and cake available during the event, with vegan and gluten-free options.
