About this Death Cafe

Gather together to discuss various topics related to death in an environment without an agenda or criticism.

Inspired by the national concept of Death Cafés, this quarterly group will host a respectful and confidential discussion of death with no agenda, objectives, or intended conclusion. Death Café meetups work to de-stigmatize conversations about mortality, and to have attendees express their thoughts in an open environment. Learn more about the concept of Death Cafés here.

Note: Death Cafés do not provide bereavement support or grief counseling. Death Cafés are also not meant for any kind of research or solicitation of services.

Registration is not required; however, please arrive on time since participants will not be allowed into the room after 6:40pm. For more information about this program, contact the Adult Services Department at adultservices@carmelclaylibrary.org.
