About this Death Cafe

Death is a topic people are scared or too uncomfortalbe to talk about. However doing so can help take some of the mystery out of death and dying. If we actively talk about our perspectives, experiences, and thoughts about such topics, growth and a broader understanding will result. It is an important topic to normalize. Our society needs to do death better.

I have offered to run the Madbury Death Cafe because I am comfortable with faciliating, holding energetic space/creating a safe container, and being around the topic of death. Those three qualifiers and a general interest in demystifying death, led me to hold these monthly sessions the third Monday of each month.

This hour of communal sharing (and cake!) will allow people to openly share their personal views and strike up conversations with other attendees. It is a safe container for all conversations.
