About this Death Cafe

Join us every third Thursday from 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM for an open and informal gathering to discuss all things related to death and dying. This event will be held in person at the The Robert F Miller Center at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Silas Creek Chapel in Winston Salem on Silas Creek Parkway . It's a safe space to share your thoughts, fears, and questions about mortality. Let's break the taboo and have meaningful conversations about the inevitable. Come sip some coffee or tea, have some cake and chat with others who are curious about the end of life. See you there!

About Winston Death Cafe

Winston Death Cafe is hosted by four members of the community, consisting of two funeral directors and two death doulas, Analise Munday, Steve Patterson, Heather Schenck and Karon Keller. We are all passionate advocates for a death positive society and enjoy providing a safe space for the community to gather and have an open discussion about all aspects of death and dying.
