About Serena Gupta & Mikel Carver
Mikel Carver is a grief advocate and co-founder of The Living End. His path to this work was profoundly shaped by the loss of his 18-year-old son, Jake, and the journey of helping his family navigate their grief. He brings empathy, lived experience, and a commitment to creating spaces where people can speak openly about death, loss, and healing.
Dr. Serena Gupta is a licensed psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience supporting adults through trauma, grief, and end-of-life transitions. She is certified in EMDR, Sandplay Therapy, and Ketamine-assisted Psychotherapy, and holds a Ph.D. in Depth Psychotherapy. Her work is deeply influenced by spiritual teachings, including Ram Dass, and is grounded in humility, presence, and compassion.
