About this Death Cafe

I’m running this Death Cafe to create a relaxed, welcoming space where people can enjoy a nice glass of wine and talk about topics that are often avoided but deeply important. It’s a place to discuss questions you’ve thought of but never had the courage or opportunity to ask, in an informal, judgment-free atmosphere.

A special thank you to 95 and Vine Wine Shop for graciously hosting our very first Death Cafe in Port Orange.

About Cassandra Colletti

I have spent my entire adult life caring for elderly family members and managing their affairs, guiding them through some of life’s most challenging moments. I have also worked in a funeral home, and throughout my life I have always found myself in a position to handle the heavy, often uncomfortable aspects that come with the end of life. My family calls me “the Grim Reaper” because I take on the difficult but necessary conversations—those questions that no one else wants to ask. I bring compassion, experience, and a touch of humor to this work, and I’ve learned that honest conversations about life, death, and legacy can be both healing and empowering. I create safe, welcoming spaces where people can explore these topics openly, ask the questions they’ve been curious about, and connect with others in meaningful dialogue that many shy away from.
