About this Death Cafe

East Hill Death Cafe is beginning its third year and we've changed the day and time to make it more convenient for 9 to 5 folks! We wil meet at Jittterbug cafe the 4th Tuesday of each month from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.

We are thankful to Barrett & Ari of Jitterbug for providing a welcoming space and tasty food and drinks for us since our first Death Cafe in August 2023.

About Doug Heatwole

Doug Heatwole is a retired biologist who has lived in East Hill for more than 30 years. He and several friends decided to host a forum where we and our neighbors could openly share their experiences and questions about dying and death and in the process, enlarge and enrich our lives.
