About this Death Cafe

Our Death Cafe is nonchalant. We want to nourish you with community (and maybe some cake) and demonstrate you will always have a listening ear. We'll ask who you are and why you want to talk about death, and the rest is up to you! Think of it like a book club where we all know how it ends (we'll die), but none of us have read the same book (we're alive). Death is the only thing we all have in common. Let's talk about it!

About Amanda Peckham

Amanda Peckham is a Washington State transplant from the east coast. After two back-to-back family losses she has recognized the need for more public spaces where we can all invest in our mortality and each other simultaneously. She is suspicious of her own death but has witnessed at least one. Amanda is hopeful that death can bring us together.
