About this Death Cafe

An open invitation to anyone who is curious or interested in informal conversations about death and dying.

With no agenda, and no plan as to where our conversation will go, the wish is to create a warm, safe and confidential space where anyone can come and share or listen without fear, shame, judgement, or pressure to conform or be other than themselves.

We'll pull up a few chairs, get a drink, maybe eat cake, and certainly tell some stories.

About Andrea Hobbs

Your facilitator is Andrea Hobbs. She has worked in the charity sector for 30 years and is now a Wild & Creative Therapist, Artist, Soul-growth and End-of-Life Companion, and Doula in training with a wild curiousity about life in all its complexity.

Andrea has been running groups, workshops, and retreats for the last 5 years, and also sees one-to-one clients. She has a rich tapestry of woven materials and tools accumulated in her basket of skills, and a deep understanding of the journey we humans undertake when we are born. Andrea is also safeguarding checked for both adults and children.

Your Host is Andrea Dye - a Reiki Master and Manager at the Raby Arms who is opening up the private space above the main public bar as a wellbeing hub that reflects her passion for her community and the people who live there.
