About this Death Cafe
I have joined the Death Café movement to offer a welcoming space to speak openly about death, dying, and what it means to truly live. The aim? To deepen our connection to life by facing what we so often avoid.
When the subject of death & dying comes up in conversation, most of us take a sharp turn away changing the subject, and thinking, “why talk about such a depressing subject matter?”
We treat death as a choice –one we can avoid, even though we are guaranteed we will die. I believe, (and the data backs this), that talking about death with others helps us make sense of our feelings and increases presence and joy in our lives.
That’s what Soul Circles is about.
We gather for just one hour and there’s no agenda, no presentation—just us sharing stories, asking questions from the community, or simply listen.
