About this Death Cafe
A community facing common and unique experiences around dying, death, loss and grief needed somebody to create a space that was inclusive, non-judgemental, open and aware. Enter HHA. We are honoured to facilitate and open up the important conversation.
About Sandra Spicer
Sandra is a Death Doula in Ottawa. She has college certificates in Human Psychology/Crisis Intervention and Trauma & Addictions Recovery Studies and has also trained as a volunteer to work at the Rape Crisis Centre.
Sandra values peace, equity, human connection and compassion. She brings these to her work with HHA and is looking forward to supporting people in talking about death through HHA Death Café facilitation.
