About this Death Cafe
I’m hosting this Death Café because I believe in the power of open, honest conversations about death and dying. After many years in end-of-life care and caregiving, I’ve seen how much comfort and clarity these discussions can bring. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming space where people feel safe to share, listen, or just be present—no pressure, no expectations. There will be light refreshments, and the format will be simple and informal, with a few gentle prompts to get the conversation going if needed.
About Terry
Terry is a private caregiver with over 25 years of experience, specializing in hospice and dementia care. She recently completed her Death Doula certification and is passionate about creating space for open, thoughtful conversations around end-of-life topics. This is her first time hosting a Death Café, and she’s looking forward to connecting with others in a meaningful and supportive way.
