About this Death Cafe

A death cafe is a liberating opportunity to talk about subjects that are often taboo, but really shouldn't be. Accepting our own mortality can help us make more of life and be better prepared to support others who are dying or grieving. As a co-founder/director of Kingston Hive, a community climate hub, I believe facing our mortality also has an important role to play in helping us address the twin climate and nature crises. In the time I've been holding death cafes, we've covered subjects from Viking burials to assisted dying. Come and join us - it's probably going to be a lot more enjoyable than you may be expecting! Ideally, please RSVP to hello@charlottehaigh.co.uk so I have a rough idea of numbers (but don't worry if you make a last-minute decision to come, or don't get around to RSVPing - it isn't essential)
