About Rebecca Senoglu
Rebecca has been exploring creative ways to offer death education in her small town of Chico, California for close to 20 years. Since 2003, she has been the Cancer Support Program Coordinator at Enloe Medical Center. She and her friend Malama Macneil co-founded the Alliance for Support and Education in Dying and Death (AllSEDD) which offered “befriending death” programs for over 7 years and led Rebecca to host a community radio show called The Wheel: Considering the Mysteries of Living and Dying. Rebecca is an ordained minister, a certified Home Funeral Guide, a bed-side assistant for medical aid in dying (MAID), and a very active member of Chico Friends Meeting (Quakers). Thanks to her handsome husband, Kaz, she has a Turkish last name that is pronounced Shen-O-Loo.
