About this Death Cafe

Please join us at the Wheat Ridge Death Café for open conversations on death and dying, and together we will create a safe and supportive environment to explore and ask questions with no set agenda, outcomes or themes. Please note that this is a discussion and not a grief support group, although we acknowledge that grief may arise for some as we discuss topics that sometimes touch us deeply. We are very grateful to Be A Tree Cremation for allowing us to use their lovely event center space where everyone can relax with a hot cup of coffee or tea and be curious!

About Colleen Taylor & Karen Keeran

As a certified end of life doula and Reiki practitioner, Colleen is passionate about serving others and guiding their end of life transitions with compassion and timeless wisdom. In addition, her life experiences have given her the tools and a deeper awareness to support others going through challenging times. She offers a gentle, yet powerful approach to end of life care, meeting people where they are and giving back control to make their own choices. Colleen is a passionate advocate for normalizing death and bringing back the Sacred.

And Karen brings with her a deep love for meeting people where they are and having open and compassionate conversations about death, dying and the impermanence of life through her work as a death and grief doula, coach and educator and former hospice aide. Her personal mission is for everyone to experience as much peace as possible when death is nearing for ourselves and our loved ones.
