About this Death Cafe

This Death Cafe will relocate to the Bennett House Community Room beginning April 16th and our future meetings will be hosted at this location.

We appreciate the Bennett House Senior Apartments for offering their Community Room for death cafe activities. The Death Cafe is open to the public, everyone is welcome. **Please park in the Fairfax Market parking lot and walk up ramp that connects to the Bennett House.

Join us and share your thoughts over tea and cake. We laugh together, we listen together, and we share if inclined.

Conversations for Mortals is a group-led discussion series that will explore and normalize conversations around death and dying. By opening up the conversation around mortality, we hope to cultivate acceptance, compassion, and connection with one another as we ponder our inevitable fate. You are welcome to attend and listen, and share in the conversation if you feel comfortable.

This monthly series, based on the death café model, will be an opportunity for you to share your mortality-related ideas, beliefs, fears, and desires in a safe and enriching community discussion. All conversations will be facilitated by one or more local EOL Doulas. Individuals of all ages come together to share what is on their minds and hearts, without particular theme or topic other than living fully and thoughts on death.
