About this Death Cafe
The Death Cafe Vienna – Courage for Life – takes place regularly. The venue is located in Vienna's 23rd district, in the beautiful premises of the "salve! Psychosocial Center." Barbara Nepp is our host. I moderate the discussions, and the atmosphere is characterized by friendliness, comfort, and yes, humor. There are no lectures or experts. We meet as people who are on this journey through life together. The end of the journey is death. At the Death Cafe, everyone is welcome to talk about it – as they are, as they feel comfortable, and however they think about it.
About Alexandra Masetti
The questions "Where do I come from? Where am I going? And who am I?" have always preoccupied me . Every day brings me closer to my death – "Do I really want to live the way I am right now...? Does the fear of dying disappear when I confront death? What is it like to cease to exist?... Questions upon questions."
Since 2016, I've been organizing the "Death Cafe Vienna - Courage for Life," and the theme evolves, evolving me and bringing many wonderful people into my life. What remains constant is that every Death Cafe is different and always new. Also constant are the special atmosphere and the beautiful encounters that this exchange fosters.
