About Gil Janssen and Martha Badger
Martha Badger lives in Bay View, Wisconsin. She completed her End-of-Life Doula training with The Dying Year. Martha has been a registered nurse for 30+ years and a Reiki Master for 20+ years. Martha hopes to raise community awareness about the role of the Death Doula and the importance of Advance Care Planning. Martha feels called to spread the word about sustainable, meaningful options that are available to all of us regarding and-of-life ceremony, and ritual ( funerals, burials, etc,).
Gil-Marie Janssen lives in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. She is a retired school counselor. She has completed two different Death Doula training and loved them both! Gil believes that death is an important part of life, one that is not talked about not planned for enough. She is eager to support end-of-life dialogue, planning and being a support in various ways to people so that the mystery of life continues.
