About this Death Cafe

Like all Death Cafes, we follow TWO basic rules..... 1. No agenda and 2. No exchange of money. These distinct boundaries create a safe and warm space for so much lively conversation! We always laugh about how people who have never come to a death cafe think it sounds SO hideous when in all reality we laugh, and cry and CONNECT. Which for many of us there, is the point of this beautiful space. Please feel free to join us and email me with any questions! About Sarah Hitman

Sarah Hitman is an End of Life Guide and Grief Educator residing in Lakewood, Colorado. Sarah has a deep belief in 'normalizing the death conversation' and the impact that can have on the human experience. She hosts several local Death Cafes and teaches her program, Claiming a Good Death, when she's not helping families privately navigate the end of life experience. Sarah has a way of making tough conversations easier, approaching them with honesty and deep compassion.
