About this Death Cafe

Talking about death is hard, but it shouldn’t be taboo. It’s a part of life. Join a safe, compassionate space to discuss grief, mortality, and what it means to truly live. Free. No agenda. Light refreshments provided.

After noticing a lack of discussion events in the Bay Area Peninsula, this is a new Death Cafe. Though it might start small, this group hopes to make meaningful impact for those who join.

Donations are welcomed to help provide for tea, snacks, and future venues, but not required to participate.

About Kellie

Kellie is a facilitator, designer, and artist that encourages thoughtful and meaningful community events.

She currently volunteers at a local hospice care organization as a hospice companion and a sketch artist. Kellie has also volunteered as a Big Buddy at a bereavement camp for grieving children.
