I’m Mike, a counsellor and facilitator with over 15 years of experience working with diverse groups in various settings. I 've always been a truth seeker, always wanted to talk about things that are often deemed less appropriate or less easy to chat about. I find deep connection and beauty is what awaits when we are willing to speak vulnerably about our true experience.

So I love the idea of hosting a Death Cafe. Loss and mourning is something that fasincates me. To me it is so lacking from our regular discourse in our everyday lives. And yet we are all touched by loss and all mourn people, pets and circumstances that are no longer. This is not something to keep inside and struggle with. We've forgotten that life is for sharing, especially the hard stuff. So let's have a cup of tea and a scone and listen and share together. The scones and tea are on me.
