About this Death Cafe
Warm drinks and baked goods will be available for purchase at Unique. All profits from the Unique Cafe are channeled into Grace KBH’s "Hostel Project," helping individuals in overcoming addiction and achieving self-sufficiency.
About Ceren Ege
Ceren is a law student, poet, storyteller, and impassioned conversationalist about death and dying. She is receiving her JD/MA from Duke Law in Bioethics and has extensively researched medical aid in dying (MAID) legislation in the states. She is an advocate for patient-directed healthcare and belives in storytelling to build compassion for how we hear and receive others' wishes during life and death.
She has previously led a creative writing workshop in Unique Cafe, and they have graciously let her host this Death Cafe in the same calming space.
