About this Death Cafe

My name is Tanya and I am a facilitator of this event. I am aspiring death doula, meditation facilitator and game designer. I finished Russian-speaking death doulas' course by DeathFoundation and work like a volunteer in the Russian-speaking center for free emotional support "Deadly important". 

I'm totally inspired by the opportunity to make a Death Cafe in Cyprus. I finished my death doula studying in summer, and I am sure that people need a safe and friendly space for exchanging their experience, emotions, and opinions about death. 

We are holding this event with my co-student Katya, who shares the same values. She thinks that in the times like today when we receive terrible news every day, there should be a space to share the thoughts and feelings on the fragility of life without being judged. We hope that other doulas and helping specialists will join to us for make these events regular.
