Tea or coffee and cake are essential to give us the feeling of comfort and support in breaching the most taboo topic of our age, which in also the only certainty which we will all inevitably face.
This is a paradox I enjoy and I hope you will too.

About Jan Williams
After a series of major bereavements in my thirties which I handled very badly, I learned a lot about grief and coming to terms with loss.
I have worked extensively with groups of adults on sensitive family issues and always enjoy hearing different perspectives. At Death Cafe we can all benefit from discussing a taboo topic in a supportive group.
