About Gil Janssen and Martha Badger
Martha Badger lives in Bay View. She completed her End-of-Life Doula Training through The Dying Year. Martha has been a registered nurse for 30+ years and a Reiki Master for 20 years. Martha hopes to raise community awareness about the role of the End-of-Life Doula and the importance ofadvance care planning. Martha also feels called to spread the word about sustainable, meaningful options that are available to all of us regarding end-of-life ceremony and ritual.
Gil-Marie Janssen lives in Cedarburg. She is a retired school counselor. She works at her local food pantry and volunteers at local hospices. Gil completed two End-of-Life Doula tarinings, one through The Conscious Dying Institute and the other through Village Deathcare Citizen. Gil believes that death is an important part of life, one that is often not talked about nor planned for enough. She is eager to support end-of-life dialogue, planning and being a support in various ways so that the mystery of life continues.
