About this Death Cafe

This marks our fourth Death Cafe session since we began hosting these gatherings. Thanks to the enthusiastic feedback from our participants, we're pleased to continue offering these insightful and supportive meetings.

About UU Congregation of Saratoga Springs

Kathleen Rehl and Marian Bigelow, both trained end-of-life doulas through INELDA, will facilitate this session. Over the past three years, they have co-hosted numerous Death Café gatherings, creating compassionate spaces for open discussions about death and dying. Kathleen also leads workshops on legacy and estate planning, including legacy writing. She is the award-winning author of Moving Forward on Your Own: A Financial Guidebook for Widows and brings her expertise in helping individuals navigate both financial and emotional aspects of loss. Before retirement, Kathleen was a certified financial planner.
