About this Death Cafe

Please do come along to our Death Cafe in Newcastle. The group will be gently facilitated to offer a relaxed and safe space. 

This is a monthly gathering of people who want to be thoughtful about death and dying.

Discussing death and its physical, emotional, spiritual and financial aspects and effects can be very a comfort and a practical support - for those dying and their family and friends. 

We don't offer counseling or grief support, instead, a place where discussions can take place in a thoughtful community.

No-for-profit, so no fees - you only need buy yourself a hot drink, so that we can be kindly granted a reserved cosy space in the cafe. I think the cakes are also nourishing and delicious!

There will be no advice, no intrusion, no cross-sharing and the cafe will be run using the time-tested Death Cafe guide.
