About this Death Cafe
It is my #1 goal to normalize conversations around death & dying because it is something that we all have in common as humans. We each have so much to offer in this conversation by sharing our different cultural, religious & spiritual backgrounds and beliefs.
This group is created as a safe space to have some tea, cake and snacks while casually discussing death without an agenda. It is NOT meant for use as a support group or for solicitation.
Housekeeping:
- This Death Cafe is donation based. All funds go directly towards beverages & snacks.
- Reserving your space is encouraged so I have an idea of headcount, but walk-ins are welcomed!
- Please bring a yoga mat or chair for something to sit on. Blankets and bolsters are provided if needed.
- This location IS on 2nd floor with stair access only unfortunately. If the need arises with enough folks, we do have another location to use for future ADA friendly Death Cafes, just let me know!

Hello! My name is Lisa, and I help individuals who fear discussing death and struggle with grief to explore their anxieties, develop End-Of-Life Plans, and grow through their grief, enabling them to live fully and die well when the time comes.
I am a certified End-Of-Life Practitioner (ELP), Death Doula, Funeral Celebrant, Usui Reiki Master, a Certified Grief Educator and the Owner/Founder of Soaring Heart Healing.
