About this Death Cafe

Please join us for a cup of tea, slice of cake and a conversation about death, dying and life in between.

We as a culture don't do grief well, we have a long way to go to support our community to grieve in healthy ways. We are oftentimes deeply uncomfortable even talking about this topic, let alone sitting with someone in distress.

Our goal in hosting Death Cafes is to create an opportunity for us to come together to break down some of these barriers and to start to do things differently.

About Ali Mills (Grief Guide) & Amy Larsen (Brisbane Grief Counselling)

Ali and Amy are Specialised grief, loss, and bereavement counsellors working at Grief Guide and Brisbane Grief Counselling (respectively.)

Ali and Amy have over 15 years of  clinical experience suporting people of all ages through many different grief experiences.

Their hope is to create spaces for people to feel seen, heard, and valued in their grieving experiences.
