Why I'm Hosting This Death Cafe
As someone who is deeply compassionate about supporting a conscious awareness of death as an inevitable and natural part of life, I believe it’s important to create spaces where we can talk about it openly. By hosting this Death Cafe, I hope to help normalize these conversations and offer support to the community I love. My goal is to bring people together to share, learn, and connect in a way that honors both life and death, and to foster a sense of understanding and peace around these essential topics.

Jen Vogtmann is a compassionate and dedicated professional with a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy and over 20 years of experience in the medical field. As an educator, doula, and Reiki practitioner, Jen brings a holistic and heartfelt approach to her work. She is deeply committed to supporting individuals and families during life’s most significant moments, helping to create spaces where conversations about life, death, and everything in between can happen openly and without judgment. Jen believes in the power of connection and strives to guide others with warmth, empathy, and understanding, making them a trusted and comforting presence in any discussion.
