About this Death Cafe
Apparently some people feel they're never going to die, and so why bother talking about it? However, past race, sex, language, culture, we all have absolutely one thing in common: we're all going to die. We may as well talk about it now to live perhaps a better life so that our death perhaps might be a better death. Talking about what scares us can reduce the boogeyman of death that haunts everyone at some point in their life. I have found the Death Cafes that I've attended here in Minneapolis MN to be fascinating, instructive, and ultimately full of compassion. That's what I hope is generated by the West Metro Death Cafe.
