About this Death Cafe
Unfortunalty our usual space for our cafe is closed this month so we are hosting an online cafe instead.
If you would like to attend please get in touch and we will send you the joining instructions. This will be hosted on MS Teams and we will provide joining instructions for the platform.
If you would prefer an opportunity to meet face to face we have another cafe happening in Cambuslang (about a 15 minute drive from the Southside) on Sunday 4th August, 12pm-1.30pm which you would be welcome to join.
Our regualr cafes will recommence in September.
Our Death Cafés are very informal with everyone given the opportunity to speak as much or as little as they would like.
The facilitors are local members of the community, and whilst they have a background in the world of palliative care they are not trained bereavement or counselling professionals, however we are happy to help signpost you to great local organisation if you need further support.

The Southside Death Club has the ambition to create a compassionate community in the heart of the Southside of Glasgow. We want neighbours, families and friends to feel comfortable reaching out and supporting each another through loss, grief and bereavement.
