About this Death Cafe
Death has been a central character throughout my life, and the ability to talk about this feel vital to me. It is my honour to create a space for others to wade through the complexities, fears, tears, and even humour of talking about death, dying, grief, and our finite lives.
About Lainie Magidsohn
Lainie has dedicated her life to walking with people as they cross life's myriad thresholds. She is a non-denominational Metaphysical Minister, ordained through the Bancroft Centre for Awakening Spiritual Growth in Ontario, Canada.
She completed the Contemplative End of Life Care certification through the Institute for Traditional Medicine in Toronto, and also holds a Masters of Education from University of Toronto/Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. She was a psychotherapist in private practice for 15 years.
Lainie is also a dancer, choreographer, and movement facilitator, and an instructor with Dancing With Parkinson's.
