About this Death Cafe
Talking about death is a natural part of life and is the first step toward transforming our cultural views of it. At the NW Houston Death Cafe, we provide a safe, welcoming space for open discussions about death. Our goal is to increase positive awareness so you can live fully. This open forum has no agenda or themes. Come to share or just to listen. All are welcome!
Talking about death won’t kill you, so come along to a death cafe!
We meet on the third Saturday of every month at the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service.
There will be coffee and cookies, and anyone wishing to bring along treats to share is welcome to do so!
We will be in The Robert L. Waltrip Memorial Classroom (middle room) -- there will be a small paper sign with the Death Cafe logo on the door.
This event is being held in partnership with Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service and Beyond Legacy.
