About this Death Cafe

Join us the third Wednesday of the month, September 18, October 16, and November 20th, from 5:30-7:30p at the Davenport Eastern Avenue Branch for a Death Cafe. At a Death Cafe, people, often strangers, gather to eat treats, drink coffee, and discuss death. Our objective is 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives'.

A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives, or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session. All are welcome to attend any/all sessions and can participate as much as they are comfortable.
